Fredericksburg
"Heart" was one of the first notes I scribbled into my notebook while listening to Bill and Mary Ellen St. Cyr share their journey that lead to the creation of Ambleside schools across the United States and abroad. Having taught in public schools for 13 years, my own heart had been jaded. I knew that I needed what they had.
It was an unexpected and lightning flash turn of events that lead me and my family to Ambleside School of Fredericksburg, a turn of events exciting and a little scary, but we are moving forward to the charming German town fueled by faith and the encouragement of our friends and family.
My wife wrote me a little love note, telling me that she was ready for our "next adventure together." This is the dearest encouragement of them all.
So, friends, I hope to bring a little bit of Ambleside to you too. Join me, with faith and joy, on a journey to Ambleside.
